Let’s start by getting some details about your ExpressVPN account. Open the Welcome Email you received when you signed up for ExpressVPN. Click the link in the email.
If you can’t find the link, log in to your account here.
Once you’ve clicked the link in the welcome email or logged in to the website, click on Set Up ExpressVPN on the Active Subscriptions page. This will take you to the Downloads page.
Click on the Windows section. On the right side of the screen, click on Show all versions and then click the Download button for Windows XP and Vista to start downloading your app.
Do not close the window! You will need it for the next step.
Before proceeding to the app install, you need to copy your activation code. You will need this later.
To copy your activation code to the clipboard, click the copy code icon in the top right corner of the box containing the code. You will be asked to provide it later.
Install the VPN app
Double-click on the file expressvpn-install_v3.535 in your downloads folder.
If any security warnings pop up, click Yes or Allow to continue with the installation.
Click I agree.
