In your ExpressVPN app’s diagnostics file, you may see the following warning:
WARNING: this configuration may cache passwords in memory -- use the auth-nocache option to prevent this.
The ExpressVPN app caches the username and password of your OpenVPN configuration in memory so you do not need to enter them each time you reconnect to the VPN.
This data is stored in your device’s memory and is not accessible without access to the device. This message does not indicate a problem with your privacy or security. You can continue using the ExpressVPN app normally.
