This week’s top college football games

From Saturday afternoon showdowns in the SEC to intriguing mid-major matchups, we have you covered with the best games to watch each week. Here’s which Week 10 games we’ll be watching:

No. 23 UTSA vs. North Texas – Friday, December 2, 7:30 p.m. ET / 12:30 a.m. GMT: The 2022 Conference USA Championship Game features two teams headed to the American Athletic Conference after this season. Things are funny like that. Friday night marks UNT’s first C-USA title game appearance since 2017, while UTSA looks to become the league’s first repeat winners since the 2015-16 Western Kentucky Hilltoppers. Catch the game on CBS Sports Network.

No. 4 USC vs. No. 12 Utah  – Friday, December 2, 8 p.m. ET / 1 a.m GMT: USC is only one win away from its first Pac-12 Conference title since 2017. More importantly, the Trojans are all but assured of finally reaching the College Football Playoff with a victory over the Utes on Friday night. Can Utah play spoiler and repeat as conference champions? Tune in on Fox.

No. 3 TCU vs. No. 13 Kansas State – Saturday, December 3, 12 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. GMT: TCU is in the exact same scenario as USC: win, and they’re in. Good luck keeping a 13-0 Horned Frogs team out of the CFP. Kansas State hasn’t won the Big 12 since 2012, a time when the league didn’t hold a conference championship game. You’d have to go back to 2003 to find K-State’s last Big 12 title game victory. Don’t miss this game on ABC.

Ohio vs. Toledo – Saturday, December 3, 12 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. GMT: It’s an all-Ohio showdown in the 2022 MAC Championship Game. Toledo owns three conference titles and, at 7-5, is already assured of their 13th consecutive non-losing season. Although Ohio finished an impressive 9-3, the Bobcats will be without star quarterback Kurtis Rourke, who suffered a season-ending knee injury on November 15. Tune in on ESPN.

Troy vs. Coastal Carolina – Saturday, December 3, 3:30 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. GMT: Remember in 2020 when COVID-19 kept canceling college football games? Coastal Carolina earned the right to play in that year’s Sun Belt Championship Game but missed out when the league canceled it because of a positive test within the Chanticleers’ program. After another strong showing this fall, Coastal Carolina finally has an opportunity to win its first SBC title—so long as the Chanticleers can get past an intriguing Troy Trojans team. ESPN will have full coverage.

No. 1 Georgia vs. No. 11 LSU – Saturday, December 3, 4 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. GMT: Now we have your attention. Like USC and TCU, Georgia gets back in the College Football Playoff with an SEC Championship Game victory. As for LSU, the Tigers’ shocking road loss to Texas A&M last weekend effectively ended Brian Kelly’s chances of bringing a national championship back to Baton Rouge. CBS and Paramount Plus will have every snap.

No. 18 Tulane vs. No. 22 UCF – Saturday, December 3, 4 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. GMT: If you’re unfamiliar with Tulane quarterback Michael Pratt, know the name. The third-year quarterback has set or matched career highs this season in completion percentage (64.9%), passing yards (2,381), yards per attempt (8.3), passing touchdowns (21), and rushing touchdowns (nine) for the Green Wave. After throwing eight picks in each of his first two years, Pratt has only tossed four interceptions this season. What will he do against UCF in the 2022 AAC Championship Game? Catch the game on ABC.

Boise State vs. Fresno State – Saturday, December 3, 4 p.m. ET / 9 p.m. GMT: This is familiar territory for both teams. Fresno State and Boise State previously dueled in the Mountain West Championship Game in 2017 and 2018, splitting both games. The Broncos own three conference titles, one more than the Bulldogs‘ two, since the MWC began playing a championship game in 2013. Watch on Fox.

No. 2 Michigan vs. Purdue – Saturday, December 3, 8 p.m. ET / 1 a.m. GMT: How’s one more “win-and-in” scenario sound? In fact, Michigan’s dominant road victory over Ohio State last Saturday might have been enough to guarantee the Wolverines a CFP berth even if they lose to Purdue. Still, something tells us Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines prefer to ensure they continue controlling their own fate. Catch the game on Fox.

No. 24 North Carolina vs. No. 10 Clemson – Saturday, December 3, 8 p.m. ET / 1 a.m. GMT: Any hopes Clemson had at returning to the College Football Playoff ended with last weekend’s 31-30 loss to South Carolina. The Tigers won six straight ACC titles from 2015-20, and they can celebrate with the trophy again with a victory over Drake Maye and a dangerous Tar Heels team. ABC will have full coverage.
