Can I select which devices are protected by the router? Can this be done on the original Linksys firmware?

You can choose which devices are protected by your router after flashing to the ExpressVPN firmware by performing the below:

  1. Log in to expressvpnrouter.com
  2. Go to VPN Options in the left side-bar
  3. Select Let me select which devices should be protected
  4. Scroll down to Recently Connected Devices and toggle protection ON or OFF for each connected device.

You cannot choose which devices are protected by VPN using the original Linksys firmware because it does not have any VPN capabilities on its own.
