Remove a saved VPN configuration
Note: The names and locations of settings may vary depending on your Android device manufacturer and version. If you can’t find the VPN menu following the steps below, open your device’s Settings app and search for “VPN.”
- Disconnect from any active VPN connection, including any that may be active in other VPN apps.
- Open your Android device’s Settings.
- Tap Connections.
- Select More connection settings.
- Tap VPN.
- Remove any existing VPN configurations listed on the screen.
- If you have VPN profiles you still need, make a note of them before deleting them. You can recreate them later if necessary.
- Restart your Android device.
- Open the ExpressVPN app and try connecting again.
If ExpressVPN connects successfully, the issue has been resolved.
