ExpressVPN launches ExpressKeys: A standalone Password Manager for iOS and Android
Seamless, secure, and simple password management in a dedicated app
BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDS; February 5, 2026 — ExpressVPN, a leading consumer privacy and security company, today announced the launch of ExpressKeys, its password manager now available as a dedicated app for iOS and Android. Building on the success of the Keys feature in the ExpressVPN app, ExpressKeys introduces a purpose-built password management experience, enabling faster iteration and continued product expansion as users’ security needs grow.
ExpressKeys is now available as a standalone app built specifically for saving, organizing, and autofilling credentials.
A dedicated app experience for password management
Moving ExpressKeys into its own app gives it the focused development needed to accelerate improvements over time. By separating it from the VPN app, ExpressKeys can iterate faster and expand over time with new features that give users greater control and security. It also keeps the ExpressVPN app streamlined and focused on protecting connections and advancing privacy-first improvements. Together, these apps are part of a growing privacy ecosystem from ExpressVPN that gives users the flexibility to choose the tools they need, from a password manager to a VPN, eSIM, or the full suite.
“Passwords are the foundation of digital security, yet managing them effectively remains an ongoing challenge as threats evolve,” says Shay Peretz, Chief Operating Officer at ExpressVPN. “With today’s launch of ExpressKeys as a dedicated password manager app, we’re giving users a simpler, more secure way to save, organize, and autofill their credentials. ExpressKeys is also an important step in where we’re headed: a broader privacy ecosystem designed to give people more control over their digital lives. Over time, we’re building a suite of purpose-built apps that work seamlessly together, so users can choose the tools that fit their needs today and add more protection as those needs grow.”
In ExpressKeys, users get a clear, at-a-glance view of saved logins, credit cards, and secure notes. The app also includes familiar capabilities users know and trust, like a built-in password generator, seamless autofill, and automatic syncing across devices to keep everything up to date. All sensitive information is protected using zero-knowledge encryption, meaning only the user can access their data.
ExpressKeys can also function as an authenticator, creating one-time codes to provide an extra layer of protection for accounts requiring two-factor authentication (2FA).
Existing Keys users can log into ExpressKeys with their ExpressVPN credentials and will find their existing passwords, secure notes, and saved credit cards ready and waiting. Meanwhile, new ExpressKeys users can easily import logins from other password managers to make switching straightforward.
ExpressVPN will continue offering the integrated password manager in its mobile VPN apps for a limited time to support migration to ExpressKeys. After March 5, 2026, password management will be available only through the ExpressKeys app.
ExpressKeys is included in all ExpressVPN Keys eligible plans, including Advanced and Pro tiers, and legacy subscriptions. Download it today on iOS, Android, and as a browser extension.
