When is the Giro? Giro d’Italia 2019 dates

The 2019 Giro d’Italia is happening between May 11 and June 2. There are rest days on May 20 and May 27.

With 21 challenging stages, including three timed individual trials, only the best will emerge victorious in the latest edition of the Giro.

Who’s winning the Maglia Rosa?

Two previous Giro d’Italia champions, Vincenzo Nibali and Tom Dumoulin, are heavy favorites for the fabled “pink jersey.”

Also keep an eye on France’s Arnaud Démare and Australia’s Caleb Ewan. Both are strong contenders for the sprint stages and could be turning in career bests at this year’s Giro!
