How many devices can I connect to the VPN simultaneously?

The number of devices you can connect to the VPN at the same time depends on which subscription tier you chose at checkout:

  • Basic: 10 devices at the same time.
  • Advanced: 12 devices at the same time.
  • Pro: 14 devices at the same time.

Examples of possible device combinations

One Pro ExpressVPN subscription can be used on:

  • Fourteen computers, or
  • six iPhones, four iPads, and four MacBook, or
  • five computers, two Kindle Fire devices, six iPhones, and one router, or
  • any other similar combination regardless of device type.

If you have reached the connection limit and want to connect on another device, disconnect a connected device. To disconnect, click or tap On button..

If you are getting a “Connection Limit Reached” warning but have fewer devices connected than your subscription tier allows, contact the ExpressVPN Support Team for immediate assistance.
