Want easy app setup? If you have an Asus RT-AC68U, RT-AC87U, RT-AC56R, RT-AC56S, or RT-AC56U, you can set up the ExpressVPN app for routers.

This tutorial will teach you how to set up ExpressVPN on your Asus router, using the PPTP or L2TP protocol. This setup is also compatible with Merlin on Asus.

Note: PPTP and L2TP/IPsec provide weak security benefits and should only be used for anonymization or for changing locations. To use ExpressVPN on an Asus router, you are recommended to first use OpenVPN on Asus.

Important: This tutorial is only compatible with the following Asus routers: RT-N66U, RT-AC56U, RT-AC66U, RT-AC68U, RT-AC87U, RT-AC5300, RT-AC3200, RT-AC3100, RT-AC1750, RT-AC88U, RT-AC66R, RT-AC55U, RT-N53, RT-N16. If you are unable to connect on your router, please contact the ExpressVPN Support Team for immediate assistance.
