When is the wedding?

The royal wedding will start on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at 5:00 a.m. EST at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle. The FA Cup Final also takes place on that day but kicks off much later so don’t worry about having to miss one for the other.

The wedding service itself starts at 7:00 a.m. EST, and at 9:00 a.m. the newlyweds will get in an open-top carriage (or a closed one if it’s raining) and ride through the streets of Windsor, which will no doubt be packed with fans and revelers. A reception at St George’s Hall follows, and then at around 3:00 p.m. EST there will be a private evening reception that will be attended by 200 of the newlywed’s closest friends.

Who’s invited to the wedding?

Many rumors have been swirling around who will be attending the wedding. The royal couple has decided not to invite any political figureheads, so that means President Trump, Prime Minister Theresa May, and even Barack Obama are out of the picture.

The royal family will be there though, as will Meghan Markle’s mother and the late Princess Diana’s siblings. Markle’s close friend Priyanka Chopra will also be at the wedding, and the Spice Girls will not only be attending but are also likely to be performing at the evening reception.

What’s with those hats?

Let’s face it, the hats (or fascinators) of royal weddings past have been, well…

This year’s wedding will undoubtedly have no shortage of peculiar headwear. What will they be wearing this year? There’s only one way to find out. Add your predictions for the zaniest hats in the comments below!
